JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bosowa Corporindo has boosted its ownership in PT Bank Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) to 22.42% from previous 18.57%, after on October 20, 2014 buying 350 million BBKP shares, or 3.85%, from Kopelindo (Bulog employees cooperative).
The bank booked net profit of Rp517.32 billion in the first half of 2014 on net interest income of Rp1.24 trillion.
BBKP’s assets totaled Rp72.68 trillion of which credit amounted Rp50 trillion. It has cash and cash equivalent of Rp835.37 billion. The bank’s liability reached Rp66.08 trillion, of which deposit accounted for Rp60.96 trillion.
