JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank BNI Syariah is offering Islamic bonds (Mudharabah Sukuk) worth Rp500 billion, starting today until Thursday (May 21).
The sukuk offering is facilitated by underwiters, PT BNI Securities and PT Danareksa Sekuritas. Bank BNI Syariah booked net profit of Rp34.5 billion in the first quarter of 2015, grew by 32.36% from the same period of 2014.
The bank’s financing also rose 28.73% to Rp15.7 trillion for the period and third party funds increased 38.13%. The government intends to merge syariah units of state banks such as Bank Mandiri Syariah, Bank BRI Syariah and Bank BNI Syariah.
