JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened higher by 1.64% Wednesday (Oct 2nd) morning, lifted by blue chip stocks.
In the region, All Ordinaries cuts its gain to 0.07%, while Nikkei 225 lost 0.71%. STI also down 0.2%, while KOSPI inched up 0.09%.
In Jakarta, Astra International advanced 2.36%, while BRI and Bank Mandiri gained 3.4% and 2.44% respectively. BCA and BNI also gained 2% and 1.2%, while Gudang Garam advanced 2.92%.
Coal producers also enjoyed some gains led by Bumi Resources (+4.35%), Indo Tambangraya (+4.12%) and Adaro Energy (+3.37%).
