JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Shipping company PT Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk (BLTA) posted net profit of US$179 million in 2013, against loss US$807 million in 2012.
The company’s revenues declined 27.4% to US$329 million from previous US$453 million. As it recorded lower cost, the company booked operating profit of US$298 million, compared to operating loss of US$628 million in 2012. Shipping cost fell to US$157 million from earlier US$237 million.
BLTA’s assets totaled US$809 million and liability amounted US$1.94 billion. Its cash was only US$20.3 million.
