JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) had Saturday last week (Oct. 17) signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) with 3 banks from South Korea.

BKPM chairman Franky Sibarani said that 3 banks are KEB Hana Bank, Bank Woori, and Shinhan Bank. This is part of boosting the foreign direct investments in Indonesia. BKPM also builds cooperation with Federation of Korean Industries (FKI).

In the first half of 2015, the realization of foreign direct investment (FDI) from South Korea reached US$800 million, of total investment of US$7.6 billion consisting of 4,119 projects.
