JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Plastic producers PT Berlina Tbk (BRNA) has increased its selling prices by 5-10% in first quarter of this year due to rupiah depreciation against the US dollar. The rupiah is expected to reach Rp12,000 this year.

The company will increase further its selling price as production cost would also rise due to electricity price hike. The electricity covers 6-7% of total production cost in 2013, or 10% this year.

The company allocates US$10 million for purchasing new production machines, funded by letter of credit.

It targets to book revenues of Rp1.15 trillion to Rp1.2 trillion, a 20-25% growth compared to Rp961 billion revenues last year.
