JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Banking stocks gained this morning as some have reported positive results on earnings and profits for first 9 months to September of this year period.

Bank Victoria surged 4.88% to Rp129 per share. It booked net profit of Rp218.32 billion in the period jumped 61% from Rp135.2 billion in the same period of last year.

Bank Rakyat Indonesia gained 1.2% to Rp8,250 after reported a 17% growth in net profit. The bank booked net profit of Rp15.45 trillion on net interest income of Rp31.19 trillion.

Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten Tbk (BJBR) meanwhile fell 1.08% to Rp920. The bank booked net profit of Rp1.1 trillion, grew by 15.9%. It expects housing loan to drop by up to 50% next year due to impact of loan to value (LTV) policy issued by central bank, Bank Indonesia (BI), for second and third houses ownership.

Other banking stocks, Bank Mandiri increased 1.18%, Bank Negara Indonesia hiked 1.09%, Bank Central Asia lifted 1.43%, and Bank Tabungan Negara gained 1.02%. Bank Bukopin declined 1.52%.
