JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank Pundi Indonesia Tbk (BEKS) mulls to be acquired by Banten province, set to become the regional development bank (BPD) of Banten province.

PT MNC Capital Tbk cancels to acquire Bank Pundi. The Financial Service Authority (OJK) supports Banten province to acquire 40% shares of Bank Pundi.

Bank Pundi’s sharesholders are PT Recapital Advisors (67.85%), IF Services Netherlands BV (13.34%), Pershing LLC (10.71%), and public investors (the rest).

BEKS suffered loss of Rp221 billion in the first nine months to September of 2015 period. Net interest income dropped 49% to Rp320 billion from previous Rp633.6 billion. Its assets reached Rp6.57 trillion while liability amounted Rp6.15 trillion.
