JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank Muamalat Tbk, the oldest sharia bank in Indonesia, had raised Rp1.35 trillion from issuing 2.81 billion new shares, offered through pre-emptive rights scheme.

This fresh funds help boosting the bank’s capital to total Rp1.1 trillion and capital adequacy ratio (CAR) to 16%. The bank targets its loan growth of maximum 20% this year.

Meanwhile, financial service company PT Capitalinc Investama Tbk (MFIN), owned by Recapital group, plans to issue 80 billion new shares next year, to boost its authorized capital to Rp16 trillion.
