JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Bank Muamalat, the oldest sharia bank in Indonesia, booked net profit of Rp585.11 billion in first half of this year, grew by 52% from Rp385.87 billion in the same period of last year.
It booked profit balance of Rp1.54 trillion. The bank recorded revenue of Rp1.47 trillion from Murabahah loan portfolio, compared to previous Rp1 trillion.
Its assets totaled Rp50.75 trillion. Net interest margin (NIM) was 4.57% and CAR stood at 12.95%.
