JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Shares of PT Bank Mayapada Tbk (MAYA) surged 21% to Rp1,090 per share this morning but on thin volume. Only 99.73 million shares were exchanged hands. The stock had fallen 50% year to date.
The bank targets to raise maximum Rp357.49 billion from rights issue of 386.48 million new shares, representing 12.5% of its enlarged capital.
The exercise price was set for Rp780-925 per unit. Brilliant Bazaar Pte acted as standby buyer for rights issue of Bank Mayapada.
