JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank Mayapada Internasional Tbk (MAYA) targets 20% growth in net profit this year, supported by net interest income. It will boost its net interest margin to 4% this year.
Bank Mayapada booked net profit of Rp97 billio in the first quarter of 2015, declined 4.9% from the same period of 2014, as net interest margin fell to 3.93%.
While interest expenses jumped 59.5% to Rp770.38 billion and interest income rose 51.2% to Rp1.09 trillion. The bank’s credit increased 47% to Rp27.89 trillion. It targets 20-25% loan growth for this year.
Meanwhile PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Tbk (BBRI) is now seeking partners for developing its insurance business, helped by JP Morgan as financial adviser.
