JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) projects 14-15% loan growth in the first half of this year, compared to 13.3% in the same period of last year.

Bank Mandiri’s loan reached Rp553-558 trillion in the first half of this year. But non performing loan (NPL) increased along with the economic slowdown.

Meanwhile, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) urges the foreign investors to help overcoming the NPL issue, mainly at their banks operating in Indonesia.
