JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Central bank, Bank Indonesia (BI) recorded surplus of Rp37.4 trillion in 2013, compared to surplus Rp5.82 trillion in 2012.

BI booked revenue of Rp71.1 trillion last year, of which revenue from menetary management accounted for Rp68.77 trillion. In 2012, revenue from monetary management totaled Rp33.48 trillion.

While total expenses reached Rp28.9 trillion, of which cost for menetary control amounted Rp18.18 trillion, lower than Rp19.27 trillion in 2012.

BI’s assets totaled Rp1,648 trillion while liability amounted Rp1,369 trillion.

Gold assets was Rp36.76 trillion, gyro Rp135.18 trillion (2012: Rp55.43 trillion), deposits Rp31.27 trillion (2012: Rp98.06 trillion), and financial instruments or bonds Rp972.74 trillion (2012: Rp874.34 trillion.
