JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank Danamon Tbk (BDMN) will pay dividend of Rp781.2 billion for 2014 fiscal year, or Rp81.50 per share, representing 30% of net profit (Rp2.68 trillion).

The remaining profit will be recorded as retained earnings adding to the Company’s capital.

Shareholders have also approved to appoint Emirsyah Satar, former president director of flag carrier PR Garuda Indonesia Tbjk (GIAA), as independent commissioner. In early 2003, he was appointed as Deputy CEO of Bank Danamon.

BDMN posted 35.5% profit decline last year. In 2013, it booked net profit of Rp4.16 trillion. Net interest income rose 1.1% to Rp13.68 trillion. The bank only recorded fees of Rp2.64 trillion last year, compared to Rp3.27 trillion in 2013.
