JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank Danamon Tbk (BDMN) booked profit after tax of Rp875 billion in first quarter of this year, dropped 15% from Rp1.03 trillion in the same period of last year.
Its credit grew by 16% to Rp136 billion with loan to deposit ratio (LDR) improving to 94.1%. Bank Danamon’s capital adequacy ratio (CAR) stood at 18.8%. While non performing loan (NPL) stood at 1.9%.
Bank Danamon said its current account and savings (CASA) grew by 12% to Rp47 trillion. The current account rose 16% to Rp18.4 trillion while savings increased 9% to Rp28.3 trillion. CASA contributed 42% of total third party funds of Rp111.9 trillion.
Meanwhile time deposit jumped 38% to Rp65 trillion. The combined third party funds and long term funding rose 22% to Rp139 trillion.
Bank Danamon proposes to maintain dividend payout ratio of 30%.
