JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bakrie Sumatra Plantation Tbk (UNSP) suffered loss of Rp225.06 billion in first half of this year, compared to profit Rp3.5 billion in the same period of last year.
Net sales dropped 39% to Rp929.53 billion from previous Rp1.52 trillion. Cost of goods sold reached Rp667.83 billion, then gross profit was Rp261.7 billion.
The company recorded general & administrative expenses of Rp145.74 billion, finance cost of Rp182.47 billion, and loss on foreign exchange of Rp123.3 billion.
As of June 2013, its assets totaled Rp19.37 trillion while liability amounted Rp11.68 trillion.
