JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk (UNSP) deposits more fund at PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) last year and cut significant funds deposited at PT Bank International Indonesia Tbk (BNII).
Last year, BWPT’s cash placed at Bank Mandiri totaled US$4 million, compared to US$0.8 million in 2013. While its cash placed at Bank International Indonesia only amounted US$3.63 million last year, compared to US$13.98 million in 2013. BWPT’s cash on rupiah reached Rp514.87 billion last year. It deposited Rp27.2 billion cash at PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk.
BWPT suffered net loss of Rp684 billion in 2014, narrowed from loss Rp2.767 trillion in 2013. Revenues rose 27% to Rp2.637 trillion from previous Rp2.076 trillion. Its assets totaled Rp17.44 trillion while liability amounted Rp13.287 trillion. (rully@yosefardi.biz)
