JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Indonesia’s National Search and Rescue Team (Basarnas) has continued their efforts to find the missing DHC-6 Twin Otter plane that lost contact with air traffic controllers since last Friday (Oct. 2) during the flight from Masamba to Makassar, South Sulawesi.
The plane, owned by the private Aviastar Mandiri airline, carried three crew members and seven passengers on board.
Basarnas Chief Air marshal F. Hendry Bambang Soelistyo revealed that the Basarnas has deployed the joint search and rescue team consisting of 299 people from Basarnas, military, police, and civilians.
