2014 Bogor Care Jazz Festival

JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The 2014 Bogor Jazz Festival will raise donation for the unfortunate cancer patients in Bogor. Antanan Event Focus and Paguyuban Bogor will hold a charity music concert for two days, June 6-7, 2014. ‘Jazz Leisure and Care’ will be the theme of the first edition of Bogor Jazz Festival. The festive will be held at Padjadjaran Suite Resort and Jungle Mall Bogor Nirwana Residence Bogor. During the two days music event, there would be a blood donor section as well as an auction section. Prior to the event, the organiser will also launch ‘Toko Cinta’. Toko Cinta is an offline and online shop that would sell a great variety of second-hand products and new products from the donors such as book, cooking equipment and also clothes. However they would only sell stuff at price range of Rp10,000 to Rp100,000. The offline shop Toko Cinta will be opened at the secretariat office of Paguyuban Bogor in Jalan Pandu Raya No 43, Bogor for three days, on February 1, March 1, and April 5. According to official website of Bogor Jazz Festival, 90% of the sale of the goods would be donated to the cancer patients in Bogor. The donation will be symbolically given to the cancer patient or cancer foundation in Bogor by the Bogor Regent scheduled for June....

JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Central Java Cultural Heritage Preservation Agency (BCPB) officers Monday morning (Feb 17) start cleaning up the ash and sands of erupted Kelud mountain covering the temples in central Java region such as Borobudur, Plaosan, and Prambanan, Kompas.com reported. The cleaning up of temples might take 7-10 days and the temples’ authority decided to close for tourists and visitors during the cleaning up period. As a result, the temples would face potential loss of Rp500 million per day.
