JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Astra Sedaya Finance (ASF), an automotive financing unit of diversified conglomerate PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) has today (Oct 24) signed loan facility agreement of Rp500 billion provided by Commonwealth Bank Indonesia, Kontan.co.id reported.
On late August 2013, the company obtained $180 million three-year syndicated loan facility from Middle East lenders, the Royal Bank of Scotland, the first time an Indonesian company has run a syndication process exclusively with Middle East investors.
Meanwhile Bank Permata was to acquire 25% ASF which values for Rp2.04 trillion. Media earlier reported Permata, co-owned by Standard Chartered Bank and Astra International (ASII), subscribed 237.6 million shares issued by ASF.
After the transaction, Astra International (ASII) controls the balance through PT Garda Era Sedaya and PT Sedaya Multi Investama.
