JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Plantation company PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) booked profit attributable to owners of Rp2.5 trillion in 2014, jumped 39% from Rp1.8 trillion in 2013. Earning per share (EPS) was Rp1,589.91.

Revenue rose 28.6% to Rp16.3 trillion from previous Rp12.67 trillion. Cost of revenue also increased 32% to Rp11.35 trillion from earlier Rp8.59 trillion. Then gross profit reached Rp4.95 trillion, a 21% growth.

AALI’s crude palm oil sales grew by 25% to Rp14.39 trillion from previous Rp11.48 trillion. While palm kernel sales jumped 60% to Rp1.89 trillion from earlier Rp1.19 trillion.

Sales to PT Intibenua Perkasatama rose 37.8% to Rp2.05 trillion or 12.61% of total sales. While sales to PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia dropped 40% to Rp1.45 trillion or 8.92% of total sales.

AALI cut its foreign exchange loss by 71% to Rp126.68 billion from Rp443.78 billion loss in 2013.

AALI’s assets totaled Rp18.56 trillion while liability amounted Rp6.72 trillion. It has cash and cash equivalent of Rp611.18 billion.
