JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) reported its crude palm oil (CPO) average selling price increased 29.6% to Rp8,687/kg for January-July 2014 period, compared to Rp6,702/kg in the same period of 2013.
With 16.6% increase of AALI’s CPO production on the first 7 months in 2014, CPO sales volume until 7 months has reached 779,477 tons and Olein sales volume has reached 120,376 tons.
Kernel sales volume until July 2014 reached 202,595 tons, increased by 8.8% compared to 2013 which reached 186,191 tons. Kernel selling price also increased significantly by 94.4%, from Rp 2,967/kg to Rp 5,767/kg.
Malaysia’s CPO production along January to July 2014 increased by 6.6%, from 10.07 million tons on the same period last year, to 10.73 million tons.
In 2013, Malaysia’s CPO production has reach 19.22 million tons, increased by 2.3% compared to 2012.
This year (2014), Malaysia’s CPO production projected to increased by 2.8% to 19.75 million tons.
