JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Ceramic producer PT Arwana Citramulia (ARNA) will operate new factory in Palembang, South Sumatra, by end of this month, to produce 8 million m2 per year.
This new facility will boost ARNA’s production capacity to 45 million m2 this year, a 10% increase compared to 41.37 million m2 last year.
Currently the company operates 3 factories. It also plans to increase selling price of its ceramic products by 12% this year, alongwith the growing production cost.
The company booked net profit of Rp158.68 billion in 2012, on revenue of Rp1.11 trillion. The growth was mainly supported by the increase in ceramic selling price and 10% growth in production.
It targets net profit to grow by 60% to Rp250 billion this year and revenue to grow by 24% to Rp1.38 trillion. Currently ARNA holds 15-16% market share for national ceramic consumption.
