JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Ceramic producers PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA), also manufactures ceramic tiles, allocates Rp1.25 trillion expansion of its production facility capacity.

The company is now building a new plant in Mojokerto, East Java, with investment cost of Rp300 Billion, to anticipate the increasing demand in the future. The plant will have installed capacity of 8 million meter square (m2) per year. Currently ARNA’s plant capacity reaches 49.37 million m2.

ARNA also plans to boost capacity of its plant in Ogan Ilir, South Sumatera, to 6 million m2 by 2016. It also operates plants in Tangerang (Banten), Serang (Banten), and Wringin Anom, Gresik (East Java).

ARNA also posted net profit of Rp40 billion, fell 48.6% as revenues declined 12.2% to Rp359 billion.
