JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Arun NGL targets its gas re-gasification to be on stream in January 2015. It spends US$100 million for building EPC facility since early this year for the gas re-gasification.

The company only have one cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to be exported to Japan next month, the last time to export LNG.

Arun NGL will get 12 cargoes of LNG from Tangguh, Papua for its re-gasification project, to be sold to state utility PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN).

Arun NGL is owned by state oil and gas company PT Pertamina (15% ownership), ExxonMobil (30%), and Japan Indonesia LNG Company/Jilco (15%).

As Arun NGL converts its LNG business into re-gasification, Pertamina will control 70% interest in Arun NGL while the rest is held by Aceh local government.
