JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Jasmine Ratu Oil and Spectech Indonesia, suppliers of shipping company PT Arpeni Pratama Ocean Line Tbk (APOL), has urged APOL to restructure its debt, Bisnis.com reported.
That 2 companies had in February 2, 2015 filed the bankruptcy protection (PKPU, Suspension of Debt Payment Obligation) at the Commercial Court of Central Jakarta.
PT Jasmine Ratu Oil engages in oil and fuel transportation.
Meanwhile APOL has also sued PT Trans Lintas Segara and PT Exploitasi Energi Indonesia Tbk as they failed to settle the rental fee for APOL’s tug and barge.
APOL has its profit turning around in 2014. It booked profit of US$5 million in first nine months to September of 2014, against loss of US$66 million in the same period of 2013.
APOL’s revenue for the period was US$52 million, lower than US$72 million in first nine months to September of 2013. APOL’s liability reached US$501 million.
