Arpeni booked comprehensive profit of Rp162.99 billion in first nine months of 2012, compared to loss Rp1.15 trillion in the same period of 2011. Service revenue reached Rp880.91 billion while operating loss fell to Rp330.99 billion from previous Rp800.77 billion. As of September 30, 2012, Arpeni’s assets totaled Rp3.99 trillion while liability amounted Rp5.98 trillion.
Amidst international shipping difficulties, Arpeni said it keeps running its normal business operation by the support of its 74 wholly-owned vessels comprising of Capesize, Panamax and Handysize bulkcarriers, tankers, barges, tugs, floating cranes and crew boat with total capacity of more than 1 million DWT.
