JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Indonesia’ export value reached US$14.29 billion April 2014, down 5.92% from US$15.21 billion in March 2014. Compared to April 2013, the figure declined 3.16%.

Non oil and gas export fell 7.09% to US$11.66 billion, down 5.26% compared to April 2013.

Export non oil and gas to United States reached US$1.38 billion, followed by China US$1.27 billion, and Japan US$1.17 billion. Export to European Union totaled US$1.28 billion.

For January-April 2014 period, the export totaled US$58.59 billion, declined 2.63% from the same period of 2013. Non oil and gas export fell 3% to US$48.09 billion.

While Indonesia’s import value reached US$16.26 billion in April 2014, grew by 11.93% from US$14,54 billion in March 2014. Compared to April 2013, the figure declined 1.26%.

Import of non oil and gas reached US$12.56 billion, rose 19.32% from March 2014, down 2.1% compared to April 2013.
