JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State miner PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) Tbk (ANTM) booked net profit of Rp347.99 billion in first nine months of this year (9M/2013), dropped 45% from Rp627.78 billion in the same period of last year.
Net sales increased to Rp8.81 trillion from previous Rp7.13 trillion. Sales of nickel reached Rp4.62 trillion and sales of gold and refinery totaled Rp4.09 trillion (9M/2012: Rp2.75 trillion).
Cost of goods sold reached Rp7.52 trillion and operating expenses totaled Rp813.59 billion. Then operating profit was Rp472.98 billion, compared to Rp626.15 billion a year earlier.
Its assets totaled Rp21.25 trillion while liability amounted Rp8.51 trillion. The company has cash and cash equivalent of Rp3.49 trillion.
