JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Minister of Administrative Reform Azwar Abubakar, also politician from the National Mandate Party (PAN) led by Hatta Rajasa, was quizzed by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) today (Feb 28) related to the graft case of the alleged budget markup in the construction of a loading dock in Sabang Port’s free trade area, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, during the period of 2006-2010.

Priharsa Nugraha, Head of KPK’s News Coverage, explained that Azwar has been questioned as witness for suspects in the case.

KPK also quizzed Ananta Sofwan, a lecturer at the Bandung Insitute of Technology (ITB), as another witness today, said Priharsa.

As reported earlier, KPK had in August 2013 named two suspects in the case; Ramdhani Ismy (staff at the Sabang Port Free Trade Agency/BPKS), and Heru Sulaksono (Head of the state construction firm PT Nindya Karya’s North Sumatra branch).
