JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State airport operator PT Angkasa Pura (AP) II plans to seek loan of Rp8.7 trillion from local banks by mid of this year, to fund the development of existing 10 airports.

The company needs total funds of Rp12.96 trillion for this year, Investor Daily reported this morning.

AP II booked net profit of Rp1.03 trillion in 2013, declined from Rp1.21 trillion in 2012. But revenue grew by 19.7% to Rp4.18 trillion from previous Rp3.49 trillion. The company targets to book revenue of Rp4.86 trillion this year.

Meanwhile state airport operator PT Angkasa Pura (AP) I allocates Rp5.8 trillion for developing its airports this year. The company had loan facility commitment of Rp4.4 trillion from Bank Mandiri, Bank Rakyat Indonesia, and Bank Negara Indonesia.

AP I booked revenue of Rp3.2 trillion in 2013 and operating profit of Rp637 billion.
