JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State airport operator PT Angkasa Pura I booked net profit of Rp933.5 billion in nine months of this year, grew by 15.83% compared to the same period of last year.
I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali) contributed profit of Rp642.2 billion while Juanda airport (Surabaya) contributed
Rp291.8 billion. Other airports, Sepinggan (balikpapan) contributed profit of Rp74.3 billion, Sultan Hasanuddin
(Makassar) Rp55.3 billion, and Adisitjipto (Yogyakarta) Rp49.9 billion.
The company booked total revenue of Rp2.49 trillion, inched up 1.19%. It targets to book revenue of Rp3.5 trillion
this year.
In terms of traffic volume, the passenger grew by 10.16% to 52 million, compared to 47.9 million in first nine months
of 2012. The number of flights also rose 8.9% to 511,000, compared to previous 469,000 flights. The passengers is
predicted to reach 65.5 million this year with 622,000 flights.
