JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – The newly listed bottled water producer PT Tri Banyan Tirta (ALTO) Tbk posted 93% growth in sales revenue for the first half of 2012.
The company generated sales revenue of Rp113.6 billion and operating profit of Rp21.8 billion in the period, doubled from Rp59.4 billion and Rp10 billion respectively in the first half of 2011. ALTO then reported net profit of Rp8.06 billion against Rp1.86 billion in H1/11.
ALTO is controlled by PT Fikasa Bintang Cemerlang, Mr Bhakti Salim, and Mr Agung Salim. The company had total assets of Rp241 billion and equity of Rp120 billion as of June 30, 2012.
As of June 30, 2012, Tri Banyan had outstanding debt of Rp87.27 billion from Bank Central Asia, the third largest bank in Indonesia by total assets.
