JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – A group of people called themselves as the East Java People Alliance revealed their plan to file a police report against the Deputy Chief of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Zulkarnain.

Fathur Rosyid from the East Java People Alliance accused Zulkarnain for receiving Rp5 billion from the the People’s Socioeconomic Empowerment Program (P2SEM) during his service as the Head of the East Java High Prosecutor office.

Fathur said the case was also implicating East Java Governor Soekarwo, who is now key leader from then President SBY’s Democratic Party.

Previously, three other KPK leaders have been also reported to the National Police’ Criminal Investigation (Bareskrim). They were KPK Deputy Chief Bambang Widjojanto, KPK Deputy Chief Adnan Pandu Pradja, and KPK Chief Abraham Samad.

Bambang has been named as a suspect in the case related to post-election dispute of Kotawaringin Barat regency. Bambang is accused for his involvement in falsifying testimony to the Constitutional Court during the trial of Kotawaringin Barat post-election dispute.

Bambang was even detained before released on Sunday (Jan. 25). According to police, it was PDI-P lawmaker Sugianto Sabran who reported Bambang to the police. Sugianto was the losing candidate in Kotawaringin Barat election back in 2010.

While Adnan has been reported to the police for his involvement allegation in taking over 85% shares of PT Daisy Timber back in 2006 or prior to his service as KPK Deputy Chief.

Abraham, meanwhile, has been reported to the police by Mumammad Yusuf Sahide, the executive director of the KPK Watch. According to police, Sahide accused Abraham for violating Article 36 and 65 of the KPK Law related to his meetings with PDI-P politicians prior to the 2014 presidential election.
