JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The authority has yet confirmed the whereabouts of black box flight recorders of crashed AirAsia QZ8501 after the National Search & Rescue Agency (Basarnas) revealing the QZ8501’s tail have been found on Wednesday (Jan. 7).
The black box, as we all know, is a vital and important equipment to help crash investigators finding out what happened with such an aircraft just before the crash.
The operation to elevate the QZ8501’s tail from the seabed of the casino online Java Sea itself will be led by Commander of the Indonesian military (TNI), General Moeldoko this morning. The Army General has arrived at the Indonesian warship the KRI Banda Aceh.
As reported earlier, the Chief of the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas), Air Vice Marshal FH Bambang Soelistyo, revealed about the finding of the QZ8501’s tail location.
AirAsia QZ8501 was crashed on Dec. 28, 2014, in the Karimata Strait, of south Kalimantan, believed to have killed 162 passengers and crew members. 40 bodies have been evacuated from the crash location. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
