JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Vice Jakarta Governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama slammed the Jakarta Transportation Office related to the report about serious damages on new buses of Transjakarta as well as Busway-Integrated City Buses (BKTB).
Ahok asked the law enforcers such as state prosecutor, KPK, and Police, to launch investigation into alleged irregularities committed during the procurement process.
Pristono, the Head of the Jakarta Transportation Office), Ahok said, was demanded to buy new buses with best quality. Ahok noted the city administration has allocated Rp3.2 billion to purchase new buses.
Recently, media published some photos depicting the serious damages found on the new Transjakarta and BKTB buses.
PT Sun Abadi is known as the supplier or the sole authorized agent (ATPM) contracted by the Jakarta Transportation Office in the procurement of the new Transjakarta and BKTB buses. Those buses were imported from China. (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
