JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Agung Laksono, Chairman of Golkar Party from the Jakarta chairmanship congress (munas), is expected on Friday (Mar. 13) to visit the headquarters of Hanura Party and the United Development Party (PPP), two other members of the Great Indonesia ruling coalition (KIH).
Agung will visit Hanura’s headquarters in Menteng, Central Jakarta, at around 10:00 am of Jakarta time. While the meeting between Agung and Romahurmuziy’s PPP will be held at the Crown Plaza Hotel at around 2:00 pm.
As reported earlier, Agung met with Zulkifli Hasan, the new Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN), at PAN’s headquarters yesterday. PAN, however, is one of members of the Red-and-White opposition group (KMP).
On Wednesday, Agung met Surya Paloh, media mogul and Chairman of Nasdem Party.
Agung’s Golkar has secured legitimation from the Minister of Law & Human Rights Yasonna H. Laoly. Aburizal “Ical” Bakrie faction, however, protested the decision and on their way to challenge the decision to the courts. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
