JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Attorney General Office (AGO) has on Thursday (Nov. 19) questioned the Governor of North Sumatra Gatot Pujo Nugroho and his wife Evy Susanti in the embezzlement allegation of the North Sumatra’s provincial administration social assistance funds (Bansos).
The AGO questioned the couple at the office of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
As for Gatot, the Thursday’s questioning is the second questioning session for him. Last week, Nov. 11, Gatot was questioned by the AGO’s investigator.
The AGO named Gatot, who is also a politician from PKS, and Eddy Sofyan, former head of the North Sumatra provincial administration’s National Unity & Community Protection Agency (Kesbanglinmas), as suspects in this case. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
