JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Attorney General Office (AGO) is expected on Thursday (Nov. 12) to question Eddy Sofyan, graft suspect and former official at the North Sumatra provincial administration, related to the case of alleged embezzlement of various assistance funds in North Sumatra provincial administration.

The Thursday’s questioning session over Eddy Sofyan has been confirmed by the AGO’s head of legal information Amir Yanto.

Eddy, who is former head of the North Sumatra provincial administration’s National Unity & Community Protection Agency (Kesbanglinmas), has arrived at the AGO’s office since around 9:15 PM of Jakarta time. And at the time of writing, the AGO has still questioning Eddy.

Eddy has been named as suspect in the case altogether with the Governor of North Sumatra Gatot Pujo Nugroho, a politician from PKS.

Yesterday, Gatot has been questioned by the AGO at the office of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
