JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State construction firm PT Adhi Karya Tbk (ADHI) intends to get 20-25% ownership on the consortium of automated container transporter (ACT), which connects Tanjung Perak port (Surabaya) and Teluk Lamong port (Gresik).
The commitment for investment on this project, which costs Rp3-3.5 trillion, is scheduled to be signed in December this year and will take 2 years for construction.
Other state-owned companies involved on the consortium are PT LEN Industri and PT Industri Kereta Api (Inka). While PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) II will become operator for ACT.
Adhi Karya also intends to get 51% ownership in monorail project, Jakarta Link Transportation (JLT) which costs Rp7.8 trillion.
The company also target to boost contribution to revenues from property segment, through its unit PT Adhi Persada Property (APP), to 50% by 2015. It will invite state toll road operator PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) to build housing project in Jakarta in second half of 2014.
