JAkarta ( Yosefardi) – Composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) dropped further by 2% to below 5000 today.
BCA, BRI, and Semen Indonesia were among Top 10 stocks losing grounds. Property giant Bumi Serpong Damai, which gained substantially in recent months, dropped as much as 9.8%.
Bank Mandiri, Kalbe Farma, and Lippo Karawaci also lost ground, while Telkom and PGN prevented the index from deeper correction.
In the region, Nikkei 225 collapsed 3.72%, while Strait Times Index fell 0.66%.
