HONG KONG (Yosefardi) – Air China Limited has agreed to purchase 60 Airbus 320-series aircraft from the Airbus Company for around US$5.37 billion.
Air China expects to take delivery of the 60 aircraft in stages from 2014 to 2020. The acquisition will be funded through cash generated, commercial bank loans, and other financing instruments.
Shenzhen Airlines, subsidiary of Air China Ltd, has also agreed to purchase 40 Airbus 320-series for around US$3.48 billion.
Shenzhen Airlines expects to take delivery of the aircrafts in stages from 2016 to 2020. The purchase will also be funded with internal cash, commercial bank loans, and other instruments.
