JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk booked net profit of Rp372.2 billion in first half of this year, grew by 51% from Rp246.05 billion in the same period of last year.
Its assets totaled Rp47.92 trillion, a 46.6% rise compared to Rp32.69 trillion in first half of 2012.
The company plans to launch rights issue and second public offering in fourth quarter of this year, to raise funds of Rp1.5 trillion.
The bank had disbursed financing of Rp38.11 trillion during first half of this year, grew by 47.9% from previous Rp25.77 trillion. Third partu funds also rose 38.85% to Rp35.61 trillion. (yohanneso@yosefardi.biz)
