JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Plantation shares opened higher this morning as crude palm oil (CPO) contracts increased in the futures market.

Astra Agro Lestari, BW Plantation, PP London Sumatra, and Sampoerna Agro jumped by 9%, 14%, 10.8% and 10.94%$ respectively.

In Singapore, Indofood AGri rose 4.55%, Golden Agri lifted 7.6%, Wilmar International hiked 5.25%, and First Resources climbed 6.47%. In Kuala Lumpur, IJM Plantations gained 2.37, while KL Kepong slipped 0.09%.

In the futures market, the benchmark November contracts of CPO rose to RM2423 per ton, while September contracts advanced to RM2471 per ton.
