JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Plantation shares opened in mixed zones this morning as crude palm oil (CPO) contracts were flat in the futures market.

Astra Agro Lestari and BW Plantation opened lower by 0.63% and 1.6% in Jakarta, while PP London Sumatra lost 1.63%. Sampoerna Agro also slipped 0.6%, but Salim Ivomas advanced 1.52%.

In Singapore, Indofood AGri and Golden Agri were flat, while Wilmar International and First Resources down 0.6% each. In Kuala Lumpur, IJM Plantations gained 1.75%, while KL Kepong slipped 0.5%.

In the futures market, the benchmark November contracts of CPO inched up only RM1 to RM2357 per ton, while September contracts advanced RM8 to RM2411 per ton.
