SYDNEY (Yosefardi) – Steve Robinson has been appointed non-executive Chairman of Sumatra Copper & Gold Plc, a company developing gold assets in Sumatra Island, Indonesia.
Steve replaces Warwick Morris, but Mr Morris will remain on the board of Sumatra Copper as a non-executive director.
Sumatra Copper informed ASX this morning that Mr Robinson has substantial experience with major resource project developments at Barrick Ltd, Iluka Resources Ltd, and WMC Resources Ltd.
Sumatra Copper is gearing up commercial operation of its Tembang gold-silver project in Sumatra.
