JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has just named former Ministry of Agriculture’s director general for horticulture Hasanuddin Ibrahim as a graft suspect related to corruption allegation during his term at the Agriculture Ministry.

The KPK alleged Hasanuddin for being involved in the mark up of budget of facility procurement at the Agriculture Ministry’s directorate general for horticulture.

Other than Hasanuddin, KPK also named two other suspects in the case. They are Eko Mardiyanto and Sutrisno.

All of them have been charged with Article 2 paragraph 1 and or Article 3 of the Anti-Corruption Law No. 31/1999 which already amended with Law 20/2001 juncto Article 55 paragraph 1 point 1 of the Criminal Code (KUHP).

The KPK estimated that the case caused Rp10 billion of State losses.
