JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Mandiri Tunas Finance, subsidiary of PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) expects to book financing of Rp18 trillion this year, a 6% rise compared to Rp17.1 trillion last year.
The company will boost the financing for new cars this year. It targets to book net profit of Rp333 billion this year, a 8.5% growth compared to Rp307 billion last year.
As at November 2015, Mandiri Tunas Finance booked new financing of Rp1,669 trillion, a record high, amid the downturn of automotive industry.
The Association of Indonesia Multifinance Companies (APPI) predicts multifinance industry to grow by 5-10% this year, far lower than annual 17.4% growth during past four months.
