JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo is scheduled to attend the opening of the three-day national leadership meeting (Rapimnas) of the ruling party PDI-P that will be held at the Hall D of JI Expo Kemayoran in Central Jakarta on Sunday (Jan. 10).
In the opening of the PDI-P Rapimnas, President Jokowi will give his speech to the participants of the meeting. Jokowi’s speech, however, will be delivered in a closed-door session.
The PDI-P is now the largest political party in the ruling coalition as well as the House of Representatives (DPR).
The party, led by the fifth President Megawati Soekarnoputri, controls 5 portfolios in Jokowi’s Working Cabinet. They are Coordinating Minister for Human Development & Culture Puan Maharani, Minister of Home Affairs Tjahjo Kumolo, Minister of Law & Human Rights Yasonna Hamonangan Laoly, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, and Minister of Cooperatives & Small-Medium Enterprises (KUKM) Anak Agung Gede Ngurah Puspayoga.
